LISTEN FOR A SHRED OF HOPE

I'm going to see one of my favorite bands, I Am The Avalanche, this saturday at the glass door in Bushwick BK and words can not describe how excited I am. I went to see The Gaslight Anthem in Jersey last friday at the Wellmont Theatre and got stranded there in the freezing cold so I'm pretty happy IATA are playing in brooklyn. I'm definitely recording any new songs they play. Can't fucking wait to go!

So today I Am The Avalanche will play at the Irving Plaza and I'm so excited! Even though I have a linear algebra exam today I know IATA will make my day better. I'm glad they're opening for bayside since they don't suck lol. Hope IATA play new songs and all my favorites. This month is going to be awesome. My calendar:

So on tuesday I went to see Farewell play at webster hall. It was an awesome show. They played songs from their new album like sucker bait, rock on the radio, and devoid. I spoke to Kevin and Buddy about the new album and they like it more than isn't this supposed to be fun?! I wanted them to play more songs from run it up the flagpole but it was still great to hear the old songs. I talked to Marshall before the show and he informed me that Vinnie from IATA stopped by. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see him but before Punchline went on stage I got to speak to Mike from IATA. I had a fangirl moment but I seriously didn't care because I Am The Avalanche is one of my favorite bands and I'm not ashamed to show it. LOL But anyways Farewell is a great band to see live and their new album is amazing.

So I found out today that I Am The Avalanche had to cancel some shows with Bayside because of a family emergency. Hope they're okay. I hope their new record will come out soon. I think epitaph should sign them because they're great dudes that make awesome music. Fortunately I'll be seeing Vinnie do a solo show with Anthony next week! Can't wait!

ALSO a couple of days ago Against Me! announced that Warren will no longer be their drummer.Maybe I'm blind but I did not see this in the music news on Buzznet and this is BIG news to me and many people who don't just listen to bands that wear tight pants all the time. LMAO
